Pitching / Catching Clinics
The starting dates and times for the Spring Season Pitching & Catching Clinics have not yet been determined. Based on the current weather, they will not start until the last week in April. Please continue to check the website for updated information.
The SWLL offers free pitching and catching clinics on Saturday mornings during the season from 8:30am - 10:00am. The clinics are conducted by SWLL coaches and focus on the basics of throwing and pitching mechanics as we as basic catching mechanics (depending on participation by catchers).
The clinics are held at the SWLL Complex over next to the batting cages. In the event of rain or extreme cold weather (under 35 degrees), the clinic for that week would be cancelled. Assume that if it's raining on Saturday monrings between 7:00am - 8:00am that the clinic would be called off.
The clinics are recommended for all players in the Farm, Minor A, Minor AA, and Major baseball divisions. Depending on attendance, we are able to break the players into groups based on ability for advanced training.

Pre-season Hitting Clinic Registration Information
Players MUST be registered with South Windsor Little League for the 2012 season in order to sign up and participate in the clinics.
Location : All pre-season hitting clinics will be held at the new South Windsor Baseball Building
(next to Rotary Field behind the Community Center).
Dates: March 11 (Sunday), March 17 (Saturday), March 24 (Saturday)

according to your "Baseball Age" for the 2012 season (age on 4/30/2012).
However, if slots fill up that age group, please select any open time slot.

- Due to space limitations, there will be a maximum of 15 players per time slot.
- Only players registered for a time slot will be allowed to enter the building.
- Parents will not be able to wait in the building… we are sorry, but space is an issue.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your time slot to warm up.
- Players will be allowed to enter the building 10 minutes early.
- Cleats are not allowed in the building. Please wear sneakers.
- Only bottled water is allowed. NO sports drinks or snacks.
Players may sign up for one time slot per week. There are separate sign up sheets for each week.

Time slots that still have room are :
3/24 one slot for 9:00-9:30, one slot for 10:30-11:00
two slots for 11:30-12:00 and 12 slots for 12:00-12:30
